Ahmed Noaman Karar has been a Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) since 2009. He is also a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) by Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP), Certified PROACT' for Meridium RCA Methodology Trainer by Reliability Center Inc., Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Master Black Belt (CMBB) and Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellency (CMQ/OE) by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He holds a master's degree in reliability engineering and asset management from the University of Manchester, a master's degree in quality management from AASTMT, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from The University of Alexandria. He is the author of 'Reliability Centered Maintenance Quality in Oil and Gas Field: Guidelines to Improve Your RCM Quality.' He has extensive experience in reliability engineering and asset management field passing through different positions starting from reliability engineer up to consulting director in multinational companies like GE, Baker Hughes, Meridium, EMC, Bureau veritas and LG electronics. He has delivered results in different business environments through the successful implementation of reliability engineering tools and techniques with many clients like ADCO, ARAMCO, Bapco, Bayer, Borouge, BP, Covestro, Cristal, ENEL, Equate, IPRC, GASCO, Gazprom Neft, KNPC, MIDOR, Natpet, ORPIC, Petro Rabigh, Qatar Gas, Qchem, SABIC, SADARA, SATORP, Severstal, Sibur, Sipchem, Socar, Tasnee, Vyksa, Yamal, and YASREF.
