Reliability Maintenance Manager, Ingredion
For John Bellettini, spending 38 years in various roles in the corn refining industry brought him to his most challenging role as reliability manager. John has held several roles throughout his career where he developed his maintenance and reliability back ground. During those years, there were several attempts to instill reliability into the plant's culture, but organizationally, the lack of understanding and commitment saw repeated failures of the program to take root. As part the recent attempt at implementing a reliability program, John was responsible for developing a multi-disciplined approach to the reliability implementation. John led the formation of a group of engineers, maintenance managers, process specialists, purchasing agents, planners and operations managers in the upfront design of the program. Together, the implementation team instituted planning and scheduling, skills training programs and RACIs for all critical roles in the reliability program. In addition, John developed the lubrication, vibration and condition based monitoring teams to address and monitor equipment health. John continues his education in the reliability arena and most recently received his MLT 1 certification.
